Dig into the science of growing! Campers will become young botanists, gardeners, and designers as they explore what plants need to survive and how gardens can be created in all kinds of spaces.

Throughout the day, campers will investigate the life cycle of a seed, examine roots and plant structures, explore soil and growing conditions, and create their own mini growing projects. They’ll also use engineering and creativity to design a small greenhouse or garden system they can continue observing after camp.

It’s a hands-on day filled with planting, building, experimenting, and plenty of opportunities to get a little dirt under their fingernails.
