Parents, we all want our kids to flourish academically and socially. Idea Lab Kids in Ballantyne has established ourselves as THE place for kids to activate all parts of their brains with hands-on STEAM education. Just ask around and see our reviews. Our Homeschool Enrichment program is perfect to enhance your current homeschool curriculum. In this four week long program, students will engage in a different discipline each day as they cycle through classes in Science, Engineering, Culinary, Robotics, Art, Entrepreneurship, Coding and more!  All of our classes are hands-on, project based lessons that promote critical thinking skills, creativity, collaboration, academic vocabulary, and problem solving skills. Students also develop fine motor skills and resiliency as they work through challenges. We focus on developing well-rounded learners that will be tomorrow's leaders. If your homeschool group have specific themes or learning standards that you would like to focus on, we can curate an engaging curriculum to meet your goals.

Drop-In  Information

Come in for just a day or two at the drop-in rate of $30/session. Payment may be made by:

• Cash (please send a text to 980-339-9396 with the word “dropping off” and the date/name/program so that we can be prepared)

When sending payment via Zelle, Venmo, or CashApp, please include your child’s name and the program in the subject line.

Prior to dropping off a student, all parents must create an IDEA Lab account with updated family information, emergency contacts, and health/allergy details. You may create an account here.

OUR TEAM: Although our hands-on, interactive curriculum is awesome, our amazing teachers and staff elevate our program to another level. Our teachers are certificated teachers or college students specializing in the camp's field of study. We also have teacher assistants who may be in college, or a junior or senior in High School. Our director is Kosal Chea, a former principal and National Board Certified Teacher with 19 years of public school leadership.
