Before the school year gets into full swing, we're opening the Lab for a special, relaxed experience just for our kindergarteners!
Kindergarten Welcome Days aren't traditional camp days. We're intentionally keeping things easygoing and less structured so children have time to get to know their teachers, explore the Lab, play, create crafts, make friends, and become comfortable with the routines they'll experience during afterschool.
There will be plenty of time for free play, games, creative activities, lunch, and simply getting comfortable at Idea Lab—without a packed camp schedule and so many "big" kids.
At 1:30 PM, our kindergarteners will join us for the afternoon routine, including riding along in the Idea Lab van as we pick up our afterschool students, before returning to the Lab for afterschool.
Children should bring a packed lunch, 2 snacks, and water bottle.
