Looking for an after-school program that goes beyond childcare?

At IDEA Lab Kids St. Albert, our After School STEAM Academy is a structured, instructor-led enrichment program, combining safe and reliable transportation from school with high-quality, hands-on learning.

Students are immersed in a structured curriculum spanning Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, culinary arts, and Mathematics, delivered through hands-on, guided instruction in a purpose-built environment. Each session reinforces core skills, fosters curiosity, and develops independent thinking.

What families can expect:
• School pickup and transportation to IDEA Lab Kids St. Albert
• Small class sizes (max 12 students)
• Daily STEAM lessons (robotics, coding, science, art, culinary, and more)
• Homework and literacy support built into the schedule
• A structured, supportive environment that builds confidence and real-world skills

As outlined in our program guide, each day follows a consistent and engaging flow:

  • Pickup and transport
  • Snack and unwind time
  • STEAM enrichment block
  • Homework or project time
  • Open exploration and pickup
