School's Out. STEAM's On!

When school's out, the learning and fun don't have to stop.

At IDEA Lab Kids St. Albert, our School's Out STEAM Camps turn PD Days and other school days off into action-packed adventures filled with creativity, discovery and hands-on learning.

Each camp explores Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math through engaging projects, experiments and challenges designed to spark curiosity, build confidence and keep kids learning while having fun. And because no two camp days are exactly alike, children can join us throughout the school year and experience something new each time!

A Taste of What Your Child Might Explore

• Mind-Blowing Science – Fizzing reactions, colourful chemistry and hands-on experiments that put campers in the role of scientist.
• Engineering Challenges – Design, build, test and problem-solve through creative, hands-on challenges.
• Tech Time – Explore coding, robotics or digital design in a fun and age-appropriate way.
• Creative Arts – Turn imagination into something real through engaging art and maker projects.

What to Bring?

• Nut-free lunch and snacks
• Refillable water bottle
• Closed-toe indoor shoes (during wet weather or Winter)

Early drop-off and late pickup are included at no additional charge, giving families added flexibility and making school days off a little easier. 

• Early drop of starts at 8:30am 
• Late Pickup until 5pm
• Registration is required (Select this Add-On when registering)

We intentionally keep our child-to-instructor ratios low, giving campers more individual attention, support and hands-on guidance throughout the day. Combined with our trained STEAM instructors and small-group environment, this helps us provide a safe, engaging and high-quality camp experience from drop-off to pickup.
