Jaseurs A1 – Beginner French

The Jaseurs A1 program is a full-year journey designed to take young learners from absolute beginners to the completion of the A1 level (Beginner). From September to June, children explore French through songs, games, stories, crafts, and interactive activities that make learning fun and meaningful.

Over the year, students will:

Build a strong foundation of everyday vocabulary (greetings, numbers, colours, classroom objects, family, animals, food, weather, clothing, hobbies).
Learn to understand and use simple sentences to talk about themselves, their likes, routines, and surroundings.
Develop listening and speaking skills to ask and answer questions in familiar contexts.
Practice reading short words, simple instructions, and mini-stories.
Begin writing basic sentences, short descriptions, and guided dialogues.
Gain exposure to cultural traditions and everyday life in French-speaking countries.

By the end of the program, students will be able to:

Introduce themselves and others,
Exchange basic information (age, where they live, family members, likes/dislikes),
Understand classroom language and simple instructions,
Communicate in familiar, everyday situations with growing confidence.

This program ensures that Jaseurs complete the full A1 level, preparing them for the next step toward A2 Pre-Intermediate (Animateurs) the following year.
