Campers will enjoy two energetic, hands-on science experiences each day, with one half-day focused on electricity and engineering and the other on surprising science experiments.
In Watts Up with Electricity?, campers will investigate how electricity works by building circuits, testing conductive materials, creating switches, and experimenting with motors and magnets. They will make glowing art, buzzing alarms, moving gadgets, and other powered projects while developing practical electrical-engineering skills.
During Silly Science, campers will explore chemical reactions, sensory science, evaporation, fluorescent substances, and other fascinating phenomena using familiar materials. Each experiment combines real scientific discovery with plenty of creativity, curiosity, and fun.
By the end of the week, campers will leave with a stronger understanding of science and engineering, a collection of take-home creations, and the confidence to keep experimenting.
