Need Winter break options, we got your covered! Idea Lab Kids-Spring Branch will be hosting a S.T.E.M-based Winter Break Camp. 

Snack will be provided, parents are required to provide their child a lunch. We are a peanut-free campus.

The kitchen is really just another science lab. Discover how each ingredient in a recipe plays an important part in the final product. Students will explore the science of various baking ingredients and how they alter and impact the sweet treats they enjoy!

Cookie Chemistry 1- The students will learn that baking is a science because every ingredient in a recipe has a purpose and combines together to make a baked good. They will learn about the nine ingredients that make a cookie with a brief explanation of how they affect the texture and taste of their cookies. When they make a single change in the recipe, they will observe and taste the difference in each cookie.

Cookie Chemistry 2- Students will make a delicious sugar cookie from scratch.

Cookie Cones- Students will learn the history of how the cookie was invented. Students will learn how to measure ingredients.
