Idea Lab Homeschool Lab | Build • Code • Experiment
A six-week hands-on STEAM series for homeschool students in grades K–8.
At Idea Lab Kids Wesley Chapel, students use science materials, robotics equipment, and technology to investigate questions and solve design challenges. They practice planning, testing, debugging, and explaining their thinking while working with other homeschool learners.
Choose your age group
Explorers | Grades K–3
Younger learners explore science, engineering, robotics, coding, and design through guided challenges. Instructors help students make predictions, plan a build, follow a coding sequence, test ideas, and share discoveries.
Innovators | Grades 4–8
Upper-elementary and middle-school learners investigate variables, record and analyze results, program and debug projects, and work through engineering constraints. Instructors support increasingly independent work and challenge students to explain and improve their solutions.
Both groups run simultaneously. Activities are differentiated within each group based on age, experience, and readiness.
The six-week experience
Engineering Under Pressure • Robot Rescue Mission • Real Science Lab • Code It! • Motion Lab • Design for Good
Students explore a different STEAM challenge each week. The series concludes with a project that applies the engineering design process to a real-world problem.
Tuition includes six 90-minute classes, instructional materials, technology, robotics equipment, and project supplies.
5% sibling discount. Maximum of 12 students per group. Each group requires at least four enrolled students to run. Registration is for the complete series.
