Breaking news! Campers will step into a working newsroom and discover what it takes to create a newscast from start to finish.

They’ll brainstorm news stories, write scripts, take on roles such as anchors, reporters, camera operators, and producers, then head in front of and behind the camera to record their broadcast. Campers will experiment with interviewing, camera angles, audio, graphics, and video editing as they turn their ideas into a polished news segment.

By the end of the day, the team will put everything together for their own Idea Lab-style news broadcast.
