Blast off to "Space Explorers" and embark on an astronomical adventure out of this world! Campers will delve into the mysteries of the universe, exploring phases of the moon, comets, the Milky Way, and more. Through hands-on projects, they'll showcase their cosmic knowledge. Get ready to launch into the unknown as the IDEA Lab Shuttle whisks us away to uncharted corners of the galaxy. Take advantage of the celestial journey of a lifetime!
Snacks will be provided, but parents must give their children lunch. We are a peanut-free campus.
Requirements: ALL CHILDREN MUST BE POTTY TRAINED AND CAN INDEPENDENTLY USE THE RESTROOM. Our staff can not enter the restroom to help the child wipe and/or help with other bathroom processes.
Daily Day Camp Schedule:
7:30 AM - 8:30 AM: Pre-camp (must be enrolled for pre-camp)
8:30 A.M-9:00 A.M: Camp Drop Off
9:00 AM - 9:15 AM: Introductions + Wash hands+Attendnce+ Expectations for the day
9:15 AM- 10:15 AM: Activity One
10:15 AM - 10:30 AM: Morning Snack
10:30 AM - 11:30 AM: Activity Two
11:30 AM - 12:00 PM: Classroom Rotations
12:00 PM - 12:05 PM: Handwashing
12:05 PM - 12:35 PM: Lunch
12:35 PM - 1:00 PM: Brain Break *
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Activity Three
2:00 PM - 2:45 PM: Showcase Adventure Time*
2:45 PM - 3:00 PM: Review the day's activities, clean up, and departure
* Brain Break allows children to have structured free time and time to process learning during the morning. This time is not considered "Quiet time" but a chance to free draw, play small group games, and allow the children to disconnect before starting afternoon lessons.
*Showcase Adventure Time is when students can showcase their talent to a group of students; this is a fun way to end the day.
