Idea Lab Kids – Summer Camp Terms & Conditions

By enrolling a child in Idea Lab Kids Summer Camp, the parent or legal guardian (“Parent”) agrees to the following Terms & Conditions.


1. Program Overview

Idea Lab Kids Summer Camp is a licensed child care program offering hands-on STEM, engineering, science, and creative technology activities. Camps operate at designated Idea Lab locations during scheduled summer weeks and hours.

Idea Lab Kids is a Texas-licensed child care facility and operates in compliance with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) Minimum Standards.


2. Registration & Enrollment

  • Enrollment is completed online through Idea Lab’s registration system.

  • Full payment (or scheduled payment per registration terms) is required to secure a child’s spot.

  • Enrollment is confirmed only once payment is successfully processed.

  • Idea Lab reserves the right to cancel or consolidate camps due to low enrollment.


3. Tuition, Fees & Payments

  • Tuition covers instructional programming, supervision, and standard materials.

  • Specialty supplies, extended care, or optional services may carry additional fees.

  • Failed or declined payments may result in loss of enrollment if not promptly resolved.


4. Cancellation, Refund & Credit Policy

All refund requests must be submitted in writing.

Summer Camps

  • Cancellations requested more than 14 days before the camp start date will receive a refund minus a $60 administrative fee per camp week.

  • Cancellations requested 14 days or fewer before the camp start date are non-refundable.

Single-Day Camps

  • Cancellations requested more than 14 days before the program date will receive a refund minus a $15 administrative fee.

  • Cancellations requested 14 days or fewer before the program date are non-refundable.

Additional Notes

  • No refunds or credits are issued for missed days, late arrivals, early pickups, illness, vacations, or schedule changes.

  • Make-up days are not permitted for any reason, including illness.

  • Credits are not guaranteed and are issued solely at the discretion of Idea Lab.


5. Drop-Off & Pick-Up Policies

Parents are responsible for prompt pick-up at the scheduled program end time.

Late Pick-Up Fees

  • 5-minute grace period after program end time

  • $15 for pickup between 5–15 minutes late

  • $30 for pickup between 15–30 minutes late

  • After 30 minutes, staff will begin calling emergency contacts

If a child is not picked up after 30 minutes and no emergency contact is reachable, Idea Lab will initiate emergency procedures, which include contacting local law enforcement to assist in determining the child’s safety and whereabouts.

Late fees are charged to the payment method on file.


6. Health & Illness Policy

Children must meet health requirements to attend camp. Children showing signs of illness may be excluded from participation.

No refunds, credits, or make-up days are provided due to illness or exclusion.


7. Behavior Expectations & Discipline

All campers are expected to follow Idea Lab’s behavior expectations and safety rules.

  • Disruptive, unsafe, or aggressive behavior may result in disciplinary action.

  • Suspension or expulsion may occur without refund if behavior compromises the safety, learning environment, or well-being of others.

8. Personal Belongings

Idea Lab is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. Children should not bring toys, electronics, or valuables unless explicitly permitted.


9. Media Release

By enrolling, parents automatically grant consent for Idea Lab to photograph or record their child for marketing, promotional, and educational purposes.

Parents may opt out of marketing use by submitting a written request. Opting out does not affect participation in camp activities.


10. Assumption of Risk & Liability

Participation in camp activities includes inherent risks associated with physical movement, hands-on projects, tools, and materials.

By enrolling, parents acknowledge and accept these risks and agree to release and hold harmless Idea Lab Kids, its staff, and affiliates from liability except where prohibited by law.


11. Force Majeure

Idea Lab is not responsible for closures or disruptions due to events beyond its control, including weather, power outages, public emergencies, or government mandates. Refunds or credits are not guaranteed in these circumstances.


12. Agreement & Acknowledgment

By completing registration, the parent or legal guardian acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to all Terms & Conditions outlined above, as well as the Operational Policies & Procedures Manual.

Privacy policy

Your privacy is important to Lexa Class, the owner, and operator of the Lexa Class application and the Lexa Class website, and we are committed to protecting your personal and corporate information. In this policy, we are letting you know about the ways we collect and use your information, so you can make an informed choice regarding whether you will use Lexa Class. By using Lexa Class, you consent to the terms of this policy.

What Information Do We Collect?

When you sign up to use Lexa Class, we collect your company name, your name, email address, IP address, and other information necessary to process your transaction.

We will use anonymized data from your account to improve the service for all customers. We will not use the content you post except to internally improve our systems.

How Do We Use Your Information?

We use your name and email to send you periodic emails, including email newsletters and occasional business announcements and product updates.

If you are in a paid account subscription, we use your credit card to process your transaction, if you have provided one. We may use your email to contact you about your account and your receipts and invoices.

We use cookies to compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so we can optimize our website and create a better user experience for you.

Do We Respond to Do Not Track Signals?

Do Not Track is a privacy setting you can change in your website browser, so your activities cannot be tracked from website to website. We do not respond to Do Not Track signals in browsers because we do not track your activities across different websites.

How Do You Unsubscribe?

You must maintain a working email address associated with your Lexa Class account, so you can receive an email regarding your Lexa Class account. However, if at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving promotional emails, you can opt-out by unsubscribing at the bottom of any promotional email we send to you.

How Do We Protect Your Information?

We use various security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information, including hosting your data on a secure server and/or a third-party password-protected, secure service. Any third-party secure service we use will keep your information confidential, will not sell or share your information, and will not contact you directly. Billing and payment data are encrypted whenever transmitted or received online.

We share your information with specific third parties who assist us in taking care of you (such as the password-protected, secure service above), who agree to keep your information confidential. We will also release your information as required by law or if necessary to protect our legal rights, to comply with a judicial proceeding or court order, to prevent abuse of Lexa Class, or to prevent threats to others or illegal activities.

We have no control over how the various Social Media Platforms collect or use your identifying information that you supply to them. Please refer to the privacy policies of those companies for more information about how they use your information.

Circumstances may arise where we may decide to sell, buy, merge, or otherwise reorganize our business in the United States or elsewhere, or where we may decide to share, rent, buy or sell business assets for the purpose of re organizing, developing, or expanding our business. It is our policy to seek appropriate protection for information in these types of transactions. In the event that our entire company or the Lexa Class application asset is acquired, customer information will be one of the transferred assets.

Information Regarding Children

We do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. This website, products, and services are not directed to people who are under 13 years of age. Please notify us at support@itvibes.com. if you are a parent whose child has provided us with personally identifying information, and we will delete such information from our files.
