Terms and Conditions

Lyricos Learning, LLC, dba Idea Lab International (the “Company”)


Idea Lab Kids is the trade name used by Idea Lab International franchisees (“Franchisees”)


Participant means the child being registered who will participate in Idea Lab Kids programs and events (the “Participant”)


Enrollment and Class Confirmation
You will receive an enrollment acknowledgment via email within three days of enrolling in a class. This does not mean the class will occur. You will receive a class confirmation via email up to 3 weeks prior to the class start date confirming that the class will be held. Accommodations and meals are not included in the tuition fee.


If the class is full, or has been rescheduled, notification of the change in class status will be sent.


Student Substitutions


Student substitutions are not permitted.


Student Drop


Fourteen (14) calendar days, or more, prior to the class start date:
There is no penalty for canceling an enrollment fourteen (14) calendar days, or more, prior to the class start date.


Thirteen (13) calendar days, or less, prior to the class start date:
No credits, transfers, or refunds will be made.


Student Partial Attendance


Full attendance is required to receive a class completion certificate. In case of illness or unavoidable emergency that results in partial attendance, make-up time may be scheduled on a space-available basis by calling our office administrator.


Student No Show


If a student fails to attend class, the full tuition remains due and payable. No credit will be issued under such circumstances.


Refunds.


Refunds, upon request, are only available for enrollments cancelled fourteen (14) calendar days, or more, prior to the class start date. Credits resulting from such cancellations can be used for future classes unless they have been refunded.

Credit Card Processing


Credit Card payments will be charged at the time of enrollment.


Student Non-discrimination Policy


We do not discriminate against individuals with disabilities who attend our classes.


Use of Third-Party Services


Idea Lab International and its Franchisees offer certain third-party services such as coding classes, tutoring, and other specific courses provided by third-party entities or individuals under contract with the Company. By registering for a class that involves a third-party service, you agree to the third-party’s
terms and conditions for using their respective services and content.


Current third-party services include coding classes offered in conjunction with CodaKids content as provided via the Brite service. By using CodaKids content over the Brite service you agree that you and
your child shall not upload any content that violates the Intellectual Property rights of others and that you grant an unlimited, non-exclusive, royalty free license for the third-party service provider to use any content uploaded by your child.


In addition, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless any third-party service provider against any damages, claims, or reasonable attorney’s fees that arise from or are caused by your child’s use of the third-party service or content.


You agree that your child will not post any content to any third-party websites that are used in delivering the third-party services or content.


Release of Liability/Wavier


In consideration for being allowed to enter the Idea Lab Kids facility and/or participate in any camp, field trip, birthday and/or program at the IDEA Lab Kids facility, the undersigned, on his or her behalf, and on the behalf of the participant(s) identified below, acknowledges, appreciates, understands, and agrees
that:


1. I am eighteen (18) years or older and I am the parent or legal guardian of the minor being registered
and I am legally accepting the terms of this Release of Liability/Waiver on behalf of my minor child and
myself.


2. I acknowledge that I am aware of, understand, and appreciate the risks associated with participation
in any IDEA Lab Kids activities and that the use of the facility can result in various injuries, including but
not limited to, contusions, fractures, scrapes, cuts, bumps, paralysis, blindness, poisoning, or death.

3. I further acknowledge and understand that there are risks associated with participating in specific
camps, field trips, or programs offered at IDEA Lab Kids due to the use of paint, clay, glue, scissors, chalk,

and other items associated with the specific event attended. Such risks include possible injuries, in
addition to the above injuries, including but not limited to, skin irritation, blindness, poisoning, or death.

4. I willingly, knowingly, and voluntarily assume the risks associated with my minor child’s participation
and in Idea Lab Kid’s activities and events.


5. I am also aware of and understand the risks that may be caused by OTHER PARTICIPANTS, and I
willingly, knowingly, and voluntarily assume those risks.


6. I agree that I shall comply, and instruct my child to comply with all stated and customary terms and
conditions, posted safety signs, rules, and verbal instructions as conditions for participation in any party
and/or program at IDEA Lab Kids.


I, the undersigned, do hereby release and forever discharge Lyricos Learning, LLC, dba Idea Lab
International and its owners, members, employees, legal advisors, financial advisors, agents, contractors, affiliates, business partners, and franchisees (the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, injuries, counterclaims, causes of action, demands, losses, expenses and damages,
whether known or unknown, whether at law or in equity, whether absolute or contingent, for or because of any matter or thing done, omitted, or suffered by the Participant including but not limited to, all claims for any damages arising out of, resulting from and/or connected with Idea Lab Kids’ events and activities in which the Participant has engaged or participated.


Indemnification


I, the undersigned, agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties against any damages, claims, or reasonable attorney’s fees that arise from or are caused by your child’s participation in Idea Lab Kid’s activities or events whether at a physical location or online.

Privacy policy

Your privacy is important to Lexa Class, the owner, and operator of the Lexa Class application and the Lexa Class website, and we are committed to protecting your personal and corporate information. In this policy, we are letting you know about the ways we collect and use your information, so you can make an informed choice regarding whether you will use Lexa Class. By using Lexa Class, you consent to the terms of this policy.

What Information Do We Collect?

When you sign up to use Lexa Class, we collect your company name, your name, email address, IP address, and other information necessary to process your transaction.

We collect non-identifiable personal information through the use of “cookies.” A cookie is a small data file that a Web site can transfer to your hard drive through your browser. The cookie is then stored on your computer as an anonymous tag. You can set your browser to notify you if cookies are received. If you choose to set up your browser to not accept cookies, you will not be able to use Lexa Class.

We may collect some other personally identifying information about your transaction in a non-identifiable format and combine it with other non-identifiable information, to be analyzed only at an aggregate level. We will use anonymized data from your account to improve the service for all customers. We will not use the content you post except to internally improve our systems.

How Do We Use Your Information?

We use your name and email to send you periodic emails, including email newsletters and occasional business announcements and product updates.

If you are in a paid account subscription, we use your credit card to process your transaction, if you have provided one. We may use your email to contact you about your account and your receipts and invoices.

We use cookies to compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so we can optimize our website and create a better user experience for you.

Do We Respond to Do Not Track Signals?

Do Not Track is a privacy setting you can change in your website browser, so your activities cannot be tracked from website to website. We do not respond to Do Not Track signals in browsers because we do not track your activities across different websites.

How Do You Unsubscribe?

You must maintain a working email address associated with your Lexa Class account, so you can receive an email regarding your Lexa Class account. However, if at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving promotional emails, you can opt-out by unsubscribing at the bottom of any promotional email we send to you.

How Do We Protect Your Information?

We use various security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information, including hosting your data on a secure server and/or a third-party password-protected, secure service. Any third-party secure service we use will keep your information confidential, will not sell or share your information, and will not contact you directly. Billing and payment data are encrypted whenever transmitted or received online.

We share your information with specific third parties who assist us in taking care of you (such as the password-protected, secure service above), who agree to keep your information confidential. We will also release your information as required by law or if necessary to protect our legal rights, to comply with a judicial proceeding or court order, to prevent abuse of Lexa Class, or to prevent threats to others or illegal activities.

We have no control over how the various Social Media Platforms collect or use your identifying information that you supply to them. Please refer to the privacy policies of those companies for more information about how they use your information.

Circumstances may arise where we may decide to sell, buy, merge, or otherwise reorganize our business in the United States or elsewhere, or where we may decide to share, rent, buy or sell business assets for the purpose of re organizing, developing, or expanding our business. It is our policy to seek appropriate protection for information in these types of transactions. In the event that our entire company or the Lexa Class application asset is acquired, customer information will be one of the transferred assets.

Information Regarding Children

We do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. This website, products, and services are not directed to people who are under 13 years of age. Please notify us at [email protected]. if you are a parent whose child has provided us with personally identifying information, and we will delete such information from our files.
