Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions for Lyricos Learning, LLC, dba Idea Lab International (the “Company”)

Definitions

  1. Idea Lab Kids: The trade name used by Idea Lab International franchisees (“Franchisees”).
  2. Participant: The child being registered to participate in Idea Lab Kids programs and events.

Enrollment and Class Confirmation

  • Enrollment acknowledgment will be sent via email within three (3) days of enrolling in a class. This acknowledgment does not guarantee the class will occur.
  • A class confirmation email will be sent up to three (3) weeks prior to the class start date to confirm the class will be held.
  • Tuition fees do not include accommodations or meals.
  • If the class is full or rescheduled, notification will be provided.

Student Substitutions

  • Student substitutions are not permitted.

Student Drop Policy

  • Fourteen (14) or more calendar days prior to the class start date: No penalty for canceling an enrollment.
  • Thirteen (13) or fewer calendar days prior to the class start date: No credits, transfers, or refunds will be issued.

Student Partial Attendance

  • Full attendance is required to receive a class completion certificate.
  • In case of illness or unavoidable emergencies resulting in partial attendance, make-up time may be scheduled on a space-available basis. Contact the office administrator to make arrangements.

Student No-Show

  • If a student fails to attend a class, the full tuition remains due and payable. No credits or refunds will be issued.

Refund Policy

  • Refunds are only available upon request for cancellations made fourteen (14) or more calendar days prior to the class start date.
  • Credits resulting from cancellations may be used for future classes unless they are refunded.

Payment Processing

  • Credit card payments will be processed at the time of enrollment.

Non-Discrimination Policy

  • We do not discriminate against individuals with disabilities who attend our classes.

Use of Third-Party Services

  • Some programs include services provided by third-party entities under contract with the Company (e.g., coding classes).
  • By registering for such programs, you agree to the terms and conditions of the third-party service providers.
  • Participants must not upload content that violates intellectual property rights. Any content uploaded grants the third-party provider a non-exclusive, royalty-free license for use.
  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless third-party providers from damages, claims, or reasonable attorney’s fees arising from the use of their services or content.
  • Participants must not post prohibited content to third-party websites used in program delivery.

Release of Liability/Waiver

In consideration of participation, the undersigned acknowledges and agrees:

  1. I am at least eighteen (18) years old and the parent or legal guardian of the registered minor.
  2. I understand the risks associated with participation in Idea Lab Kids activities, which may result in injuries, including but not limited to, contusions, fractures, scrapes, cuts, bumps, paralysis, blindness, poisoning, or death.
  3. Additional risks may arise from the use of materials such as paint, clay, glue, scissors, and chalk, potentially causing skin irritation or other injuries.
  4. I willingly and knowingly assume all risks associated with my child’s participation.
  5. I understand and accept the risks posed by other participants.
  6. I will ensure compliance with all stated safety rules and instructions.

I release and discharge Lyricos Learning, LLC, Idea Lab International, and its affiliates (“Released Parties”) from all liabilities, claims, and damages arising from participation in Idea Lab Kids activities.


Indemnification

  • The undersigned agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, damages, or attorney’s fees arising from participation in Idea Lab Kids activities.

Parent Handbook

  • By signing these terms, I confirm receipt of the Parent Handbook and Guidelines and agree to abide by its contents.

Compliance with Alberta Legal Requirements

These Terms and Conditions comply with the applicable legal requirements in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and are subject to local consumer protection laws. If any provision is deemed invalid or unenforceable under Alberta law, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.


Acknowledgment By signing or electronically accepting these terms, I agree to comply with all stated conditions and acknowledge the legal binding nature of this agreement.

Privacy policy

Your privacy is important to Lexa Class, the owner, and operator of the Lexa Class application and the Lexa Class website, and we are committed to protecting your personal and corporate information. In this policy, we are letting you know about the ways we collect and use your information, so you can make an informed choice regarding whether you will use Lexa Class. By using Lexa Class, you consent to the terms of this policy.

What Information Do We Collect?

When you sign up to use Lexa Class, we collect your company name, your name, email address, IP address, and other information necessary to process your transaction.

We collect non-identifiable personal information through the use of “cookies.” A cookie is a small data file that a Web site can transfer to your hard drive through your browser. The cookie is then stored on your computer as an anonymous tag. You can set your browser to notify you if cookies are received. If you choose to set up your browser to not accept cookies, you will not be able to use Lexa Class.

We may collect some other personally identifying information about your transaction in a non-identifiable format and combine it with other non-identifiable information, to be analyzed only at an aggregate level. We will use anonymized data from your account to improve the service for all customers. We will not use the content you post except to internally improve our systems.

How Do We Use Your Information?

We use your name and email to send you periodic emails, including email newsletters and occasional business announcements and product updates.

If you are in a paid account subscription, we use your credit card to process your transaction, if you have provided one. We may use your email to contact you about your account and your receipts and invoices.

We use cookies to compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so we can optimize our website and create a better user experience for you.

Do We Respond to Do Not Track Signals?

Do Not Track is a privacy setting you can change in your website browser, so your activities cannot be tracked from website to website. We do not respond to Do Not Track signals in browsers because we do not track your activities across different websites.

How Do You Unsubscribe?

You must maintain a working email address associated with your Lexa Class account, so you can receive an email regarding your Lexa Class account. However, if at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving promotional emails, you can opt-out by unsubscribing at the bottom of any promotional email we send to you.

How Do We Protect Your Information?

We use various security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information, including hosting your data on a secure server and/or a third-party password-protected, secure service. Any third-party secure service we use will keep your information confidential, will not sell or share your information, and will not contact you directly. Billing and payment data are encrypted whenever transmitted or received online.

We share your information with specific third parties who assist us in taking care of you (such as the password-protected, secure service above), who agree to keep your information confidential. We will also release your information as required by law or if necessary to protect our legal rights, to comply with a judicial proceeding or court order, to prevent abuse of Lexa Class, or to prevent threats to others or illegal activities.

We have no control over how the various Social Media Platforms collect or use your identifying information that you supply to them. Please refer to the privacy policies of those companies for more information about how they use your information.

Circumstances may arise where we may decide to sell, buy, merge, or otherwise reorganize our business in the United States or elsewhere, or where we may decide to share, rent, buy or sell business assets for the purpose of re organizing, developing, or expanding our business. It is our policy to seek appropriate protection for information in these types of transactions. In the event that our entire company or the Lexa Class application asset is acquired, customer information will be one of the transferred assets.

Information Regarding Children

We do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. This website, products, and services are not directed to people who are under 13 years of age. Please notify us at support@itvibes.com. if you are a parent whose child has provided us with personally identifying information, and we will delete such information from our files.
